Communications

Every event sends thousands of messages. Make every one count.

Registration confirmations, event reminders, post-event follow-ups, and the campaigns in between. Email, SMS, and WhatsApp — all driven by the same registration data, all in your domain, all measurable.

How it works

Automated where it should be. Targeted where it matters. Personalized at every send.

01 / Lifecycle comms

Automated messages. Triggered by what attendees actually do.

Confirmation. Approval. Rejection. Reminder. Thank-you.

Every event has the same comms backbone. Someone registers — they get a confirmation with their ticket. An approval workflow kicks in — they get the right next step automatically. The event approaches — they get reminders. The event ends — they get a thank-you. Eventtia ships these as configurable, branded templates that draw from the live registration data.

All lifecycle messages are tied to attendee state. Approve someone in the dashboard — they receive the approval email. Cancel a session — the affected attendees get notified. The message is the system saying out loud what just happened in the platform.

02 / Visual builder

Compose without code. Compose with blocks.

Drag, drop, brand. Live preview at every step.

Most event teams don't have an HTML developer on staff. The composer works in blocks. Drop a header, an image, a paragraph, a button, a divider. Each one edits in place. Brand styling carries over: colors, fonts, spacing all locked to your event identity so nothing renders off-brand.

Save layouts as templates and reuse them across events. Switch the preview between desktop and mobile to see exactly what attendees will receive. Conditional blocks render different content for different attendee types from the same template.

Mass mailing with the segmentation event ops actually need.

Advanced filters, visual builder, deep statistics.

Sometimes you need to send a specific message to a specific group. The hybrid attendees who haven't checked in. The VIP guests with dietary preferences. The speakers who confirmed late. Eventtia's campaign engine gives you advanced filters across every field on the registration form, plus tags you've added on the platform side.

The visual builder lets you compose emails without HTML. Statistics show delivery rate, bounce rate, opens, clicks, and automatic retries as the send progresses — you see what landed, what didn't, and where to follow up.

04 / Personalization

Every email knows what they registered for.

Form variables, ticket details, sessions selected — all available in your messages.

When someone registers, they fill in a form. Name, email, ticket type, sessions, dietary preferences, merch add-ons. Every one of those answers becomes a variable you can drop into any message. The reminder mentions the sessions they selected. The confirmation lists the merch they bought. The thank-you references the workshops they attended. Each message reflects the actual person, not a generic recipient list.

This works across email, SMS, and WhatsApp. The targeting and personalization layer is shared — define a segment once, message it across channels.

Built into every send

Operational defaults that don't need a developer.

— Multi-channel

Email, SMS, and WhatsApp. One targeting layer.

Segment once, message across channels. Email and SMS share the full campaign engine. WhatsApp delivers registration confirmations with ticket and QR when a phone number is captured.

— Your domain

Send under your name, your reputation, your brand.

Connect your sending domain through SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Every message goes out as your organization, not as Eventtia. Improves deliverability, protects brand trust.

— Statistics

Delivery, bounce, opens, clicks. With error logs.

Real-time deliverability metrics per campaign. Errors logged with the specific reason — invalid address, hard bounce, soft bounce, ISP rejection. Automatic retries handle transient failures and log the result.

— Visual builder

Drag-and-drop composition. No HTML.

Compose messages visually — text, images, buttons, dividers, layouts. Save as templates and reuse across events. Branded across colors, typography, and logo placement.

— Multilingual

The same comms across every language your audience speaks.

Define each lifecycle template in multiple languages. The attendee receives the version that matches their browser, region, or registration preference. Campaign messages support multilingual variants too.

— Branded

Your design across every touchpoint.

Logo, colors, typography, layout — every email, ticket, and confirmation reflects your organization. White label end to end across the comms layer.

Registration → Communications → Check-in → Analytics

Communications is one piece of the registration cycle.

The comms layer is fed by registration data, drives engagement before the event, and converts to attendance on the day. Approve someone — they hear about it. Edit a session — the affected attendees get notified. Run a check-in — the post-event thank-you knows whether they showed up. The communications layer isn't a separate tool. It's the platform talking to your audience.

Common questions

Communications, answered.

What kinds of automated emails does Eventtia send?

Every event has the same lifecycle backbone: registration confirmation with the attendee's ticket, approval and rejection messages for events that use approval workflows, event reminders before the day, and a thank-you message after the event ends. All of these are configurable templates that draw from the live registration data, triggered by attendee state in the platform.

Can I send mass emails to specific segments of my audience?

Yes. The campaign engine includes advanced filters that target by ticket type, registration status, attendee type, sessions selected, custom form fields, tags, and any combination of those. You define a segment, compose the message in the visual builder, and send. Filters can be saved and reused.

Can I personalize messages with data from the registration form?

Yes. Every field on the registration form becomes a variable you can drop into any message — first name, ticket type, sessions selected, dietary preferences, merchandise add-ons, the price paid, anything captured at registration. The same email template renders differently for each attendee based on what they registered for.

Can I use my own email domain to send messages?

Yes. Connect your sending domain through DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and all communications go out under your name and domain reputation. The attendee sees emails from your organization, not from Eventtia. This also improves deliverability since you build sender trust under your own brand.

Does Eventtia support SMS?

Yes. SMS uses the same targeting and segmentation engine as email. You can trigger SMS for time-sensitive moments — day-of reminders, last-minute changes, on-site notifications — to the same audience segments you'd target by email. Phone numbers captured at registration are available for SMS routing automatically.

Does Eventtia support WhatsApp?

Yes, for registration confirmations. When the attendee provides a phone number on the registration form, Eventtia delivers the confirmation through WhatsApp with the ticket and QR code attached. WhatsApp delivery is currently scoped to confirmation flows; broader WhatsApp campaign capabilities are on the roadmap.

What statistics are available for sent messages?

Delivery rate, bounce rate, open rate, and click rate per campaign. Error logs detail why specific messages failed (invalid address, hard bounce, soft bounce, ISP rejection). Automatic retries handle transient failures, and the retry results are logged so you can see what eventually delivered. All metrics are available in real time as the send progresses.

Can I customize the design of confirmation emails and other messages?

Yes. Every message uses a visual editor — drag-and-drop composition with no HTML required. You control colors, typography, logo placement, layout, and content. Save designs as templates and reuse across events. The branded design applies across email, ticket attachments, and confirmation flows.

Are messages multilingual?

Yes. The same multilingual layer that runs across the platform applies to communications. Each lifecycle template can be defined in multiple languages, and the attendee receives the version that matches their browser, region, or registration preference. Campaign messages also support multilingual variants.

What happens if a message fails to deliver?

The platform attempts automatic retries for transient failures (server unavailable, temporary throttling). Persistent failures are logged with the specific reason — invalid address, hard bounce, blocked by recipient — so the organizer can investigate or update the contact. The failure log is available per send and per attendee.

Do communications connect to the rest of the platform?

Yes. Communications are tied to the same attendee records that drive registration, check-in, and analytics. Approve someone in the dashboard, they receive the approval email automatically. Cancel a session, the affected attendees get notified. The communications layer is one integrated piece of the event lifecycle, not a separate tool.
