The common thread

Economic development, at institutional scale.

Trade-promotion agencies and chambers of commerce run events to do one thing: connect businesses. Exporters with foreign buyers. Investors with target markets. Member companies within a sector. Delegations with counterparts on bilateral missions. The events ARE the program, and the program is what the institutional mandate exists for. Eventtia is built for that shape of work: the full program lifecycle on one platform, B2B matchmaking, and an institutional brand the agency keeps from invitation to post-event report.

  • 01

Full program lifecycle on one platform. Registration, communications, on-site check-in, post-event reporting. One engine end-to-end, not three vendors stitched together.

  • 02

B2B matchmaking is the work. Connecting businesses is the mandate, not the side effect. Directional rules, qualified profiles, scheduled meetings between exporters, importers, investors and targets.

  • 03

Branded as the institution, not the platform. Custom domains, sender domains, attendee app, on-site materials all carry the agency's identity. The participant sees the institution, not a SaaS vendor.

Use cases

Six shapes of public-sector event. One platform.

From the international trade fair to the regional economic forum, the program shapes public-sector clients actually run, all on the same engine.

International trade promotion

Trade missions and B2B meeting programs.

Cohorts of exporters taken to target markets, structured B2B meeting agendas, scheduled investor meetings, press programs for foreign correspondents. The platform handles tiered registration (delegations, journalists, business attendees), the matchmaking layer for the meeting agenda, the on-site check-in app, and the post-event reporting that the agency's stakeholders expect. One operational engine across the program lifecycle, from invitation to follow-up.

02 / Investor attraction

Investor forums and business attraction events.

Curated invitations, qualified investor profiles, sector-specific roundtables, one-on-one matchmaking between the agency, foreign investors and local partners. Branded as the regional or national attraction brand, not as the platform.

03 / B2B matchmaking

Trade salons and matchmaking programs.

Chambers of commerce and trade agencies running scheduled B2B meeting programs, sector networking events, exporter-importer matchmaking with directional rules. The chamber's job is connecting businesses, and matchmaking is the platform's answer.

04 / Regional development

Territorial economic forums.

Regional economic development agencies running annual territorial forums, sector summits and recurring institutional events with their local business base.

05 / Bilateral missions

Outbound trade missions and bilateral programs.

Cohorts of exporters taken to target markets, structured meeting agendas, multilingual flows, host-country counterparts. Pre-mission qualification, on-mission scheduling, post-mission follow-up.

06 / Public ceremonies

Public consultations and institutional ceremonies.

Governmental ceremonies, public consultations, annual reports to stakeholders. Curated audience, RSVP-only attendance, branded as the institution. Live broadcast for the public-facing component when relevant.

The defining capability

Matchmaking for the agencies whose job is connecting businesses.

A static attendee list isn't an economic-development outcome. For a national trade-promotion agency, a chamber of commerce or an investor-attraction body, the whole reason the institution exists is to connect parties: exporters with foreign buyers, investors with target markets, member businesses with sector peers. PROCOLOMBIA runs international export-promotion matchmaking on Eventtia, connecting Colombian exporters with foreign buyers at scale. Business France coordinates exporter-importer matchmaking across bilateral trade missions. CCI Lyon Métropole brings the same need across 537 communes. Matchmaking with directional rules (who is open to whom), profiles surfaced by sector and capability, pre-event meeting requests, time-slot management, post-event follow-up. The event isn't a stage with seats. It's a connection engine. We don't sell registration to a trade agency. We sell what the mandate is for.

Why public-sector clients choose Eventtia

Three things that matter for institutional mandates.

01

Full program lifecycle on one platform.

Public-sector events run a long lifecycle. Invitations sent six months out. Registration tiered by audience. Communications across waves. On-site operations across days. Post-event reporting to stakeholders. Most platforms cover one or two of those phases and force you to stitch in another vendor for the rest. Eventtia covers the whole arc on one engine. Registration, communications, B2B matchmaking, on-site check-in, the attendee app, the post-event reporting. The data stays in one place, the program stays consistent across teams, the reporting reaches the stakeholders without a CSV merge.

02

B2B matchmaking is the work.

Trade-promotion agencies and chambers of commerce exist to connect businesses. Exporters with foreign buyers. Investors with target markets. Member companies within a sector. None of that happens through a static attendee list. Matchmaking with directional rules, qualified profiles by sector and capability, pre-event meeting requests, scheduled meeting slots, post-event follow-up. The connection is the deliverable, not a feature on a list.

03

Branded as the institution, not the platform.

A national trade-promotion agency, a regional chamber of commerce or a public-private attraction body isn't a tech startup, and shouldn't look like one to its participants. Custom domains carry registration pages. Sender domains carry the agency's name on every email. The attendee app shows the institutional brand, not Eventtia's. On-site materials use the agency's identity. The platform is the engine behind the scenes; the institution is what the participant sees from invitation through follow-up.

Public-facing registration at immigration-program scale.

Quebec's Ministry of Immigration, Francization and Integration runs registration programs for events promoting Quebec and Canada as a migration destination. The institutional flows, scale and reliability a national ministry's mandate requires.

FAQ

What public-sector buyers always ask.

B2B matchmaking for trade and investment events: how does it work?

The matchmaking module surfaces participant profiles by capability, sector and meeting availability. Attendees request meetings before and during the event. Directional rules control which categories of participants can request meetings with which, so foreign buyers request meetings with local exporters but not the reverse. Pre-scheduled slots, conflict detection, on-site matchmaking rooms with meeting displays, post-event follow-up. Detail on the matchmaking page.

Registration for delegations, foreign buyers, exporters and press?

Every trade event carries multiple audience types on the same day. Each track configures its own form, its own required fields, its own approval flow. Foreign buyers fill out the qualification form the promotion team uses to vet them. Delegations register as groups with the accompanying press on a separate track. Local exporters and investors each go through their own qualification. All tracks feed one attendee database for the event.

Multiple missions and forums across the year: one license or per-event contracts?

One license covers the whole calendar. A trade-promotion agency running 10, 20, 30 events a year (investment missions, exporter promotion forums, bilateral programs, sector days) runs them all on one Eventtia account. Each event configures independently with its own setup. Past attendee data carries forward so an exporter or buyer doesn't re-enter details across missions.

On-site experience: check-in, badges, matchmaking rooms?

Native iOS and Android check-in app with QR codes and offline mode when venue Wi-Fi drops. Badge printing on-site. Real-time attendance dashboards. On-site matchmaking rooms with participant meeting-slot displays, table numbering, and last-minute reschedule handling.

Branded as the institution: how deep does it go?

To every surface the participant sees. Custom domains for registration pages. Sender domains for emails (the agency's address on every communication, not Eventtia's). Branded attendee app with the institution's identity. On-site materials in the agency's visual identity. The platform doesn't appear in front of the participant. The institution does.

Data protection and security for public-sector clients?

GDPR-aligned handling. You are the data controller; Eventtia is the processor. DPA aligned with GDPR Article 28, SLA with operational commitments, security review packet covering authentication, data handling and incident response. EU and US hosting available for clients whose mandate requires regional data residency. Full export via CSV, XLS and REST API at any time. Legal basis in the privacy policy; sub-processor list and transfer mechanics in the DPA.

Pricing for public-sector budgets?

Annual licenses are structured to fit public-sector budget cycles, scaling with event volume and complexity. Multi-year contract structure is supported for clients on multi-year institutional mandates. Published starting price on the pricing page; the right configuration for your agency is a 20-minute conversation.

Implementation: how long from signature to first event?

Depends on how much customization the program needs. A straightforward mission registration can launch in a couple of days. Complex programs with custom branding, matchmaking directional rules and integrations into the agency's CRM take longer. The implementation team works with your events lead and IT contact through go-live.

Let's talk about your mandate.

Whether you're running international tourism trade events, an investor-attraction program for a region, B2B matchmaking, or recurring institutional ceremonies, an Eventtia conversation starts with your mandate shape, not a generic demo.
